An administrator of Wikipedia requested permission to use one of my pictures of Heart Mountain, seen on my flickr site, on the page about the mountain. Until today, all there was on the page was a satellite picture of Heart Mountain. The picture you see now (on the right side of the page) is taken by yours truly. The internet is an amazing thing.
That's so cool, April! It's a great photograph.

It did turn out well, but I have other pictures from the Cody view. He chose this picture, though, because he said it was the best one. So that's nice, but not representative of Cody natives, like you, my dear.

True, the view lacks the neatness as seen from Cody, along with the view that lets you see the shape and hence the name of the famed mountain, but it is a great pic! Congrats on being added to Wiki!

Ha ha. This is funny. Before I read the comments I clicked here so I could be sure to say that I was proud of them for selecting the "Powell side" of Heart Mountain -- the prettiest side, don't you know. That said, I do think you have some other views -- like the sunset -- that are more spectacular. But this one shows the mountain well. This is so cool! Love you!
